USB PREPARATION
===============

1. Format a USB flash drive using the FAT32 file system.
2. Create an EFI folder in the root of the USB drive and extract/copy the supplied EFI boot files into this folder, ensuring the original folder structure is maintained.
3. Create a folder named B224P in the root of the USB drive.
4. Extract/copy all supplied BIOS Service Utility files into the B224P folder.

The USB drive is now ready for use.

BIOS UPDATE PROCEDURE
=====================

1. Boot the system from the Prepared USB into the AMI EFI Shell.
2. Navigate to the USB drive.

If updating a blank system with no operating system
installed, enter:

fs0:

If updating a system with an installed operating
system, enter:

fs1:

3. Change to the B224P folder by entering:

cd B224P

4. Start the BIOS update by entering:

Deploy.nsh

5. Wait for the BIOS update to complete.
6. The system will automatically reboot.
7. Boot back into the AMI EFI Shell and return to the B224P folder.
8. Complete the restoration process by entering:

Restore.nsh

9. Verify that the displayed System Serial Number and Intel NIC MAC addresses are correct.
10.Press any key to reboot the system.

IMPORTANT
=========

Do NOT remove power during the BIOS update.
Do NOT interrupt the BIOS programming process.
Ensure both Deploy.nsh and Restore.nsh have completed
successfully before returning the system to service.
Failure to complete all steps in this procedure may
result in system malfunction or abnormal behaviour.
