Although our app is a device-agnostic software, we believe that an Apple-centric approach offers a wide array of hardware options from tablets to large format screens via an Apple TV. This Apple approach gives a clear and secured future upgrade path, with regular updates to the operating system.

Apple devices offer clear privacy advantages to competing products, and deployment is a breeze, with Parity organising Apple’s Automated Device Enrolment (DEP) for zero-touch deployment. Once installed, all Apple devices are configured and managed via JAMF (Mobile Device Management), which is a key cornerstone in the automated configuring and wiping of the devices for each patient, via the HL7 connection with the relevant PAS (or similar) feed.

On top of all this, Apple Financial Services open the door to spread your costs over multiple years and gives refresh options to keep your fleet of devices from becoming aged and lesser-used.

Digital meal ordering

Digital meal ordering is in the planning phase for most NHS Trusts. We can help phase from simple PDFs or digital menus to introducing a more digital meal ordering system which includes stock management and e-procurement. Our solutions are in line with raising standards and recommendations set by PLACE and the Hospital Food Review.

Digital meal ordering using interactive patient use tablets provided a 34% reduction in food costs, 50% reduction in service time, improved patient satisfaction. The study was at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with digital meal ordering access from Civica and Sodexo.
