We have a vacancy for a SEO & Digital Marketing Executive to join our in-house Digital Marketing team.

The successful candidate will possess technical SEO skills and be responsible for managing SEO campaigns. As well as assisting the Digital Marketing team with the other marketing channels.

The Role

We are looking for someone who is experienced in all things SEO (2 years+ in a similar role), and who will be in control of the on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategy. Using SEO tools, tactics, keyword research, analytics and competitor analysis to create successful SEO campaigns which drive an increase in sales leads from the website. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all SEO activities
  • Grow organic traffic in line with the Digital Marketing objectives
  • Perform regular keyword research in line with the business objectives
  • Utilise Google analytics and data to provide meaningful, actionable insights
  • Present monthly reports and key metrics to the internal team
  • Write and produce SEO friendly content (blog posts, and general webpages)
  • Responsible for the technical side of digital marketing, including SEO, AdWords, Paid Social, page speed and website updates etc
  • Conduct regular technical website audits, identifying where we can improve
  • Research and analyse competitors’ online activity across organic search, paid and social media to identify growth opportunities
  • Be up-to-date with new SEO trends, to educate internal teams and adopt our strategy accordingly
  • Run effective paid search strategies to improve the volume and quality of leads generated from paid search channels
  • Assist the Digital Marketing team across other Digital Marketing aspects such as website updates, email marketing, social media and graphic design
  • Analyse SERPs to understand how search results appear and enhance our click through rate
  • Report to Head of Marketing & Digital

The Person

  • 2 years+ marketing experience in a SEO focussed role either in-house or at an agency
  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline (Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Management etc)
  • Experience in leading successful SEO campaigns and growing website traffic
  • Experienced and strong copywriter
  • Experience on WordPress for SEO, content writing and website updating
  • Comfortable using Google analytics and using data to inform your campaigns
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush or similar
  • Experience with assisting the other Digital Marketing channels such as using Adobe Photoshop to help with content creation
  • Passionate about lead generation via increased website traffic, and passion for Digital Marketing as a whole
  • A flexible approach to teamwork and a willingness to work outside the job spec when required
