We love stepping up for charity, particularly when it’s for a local healthcare organisation that’s extremely close to our hearts.
At the weekend, several members of the Parity Medical team took part in Clatterbridge Cancer Charity’s Glow Green Night Walk in Liverpool. We joined over 1,000 other supporters to turn the streets into a stunning sea of green to mark World Cancer Day and raise money for:
🧬 Cancer treatment breakthroughs,
💚 Life-changing support to patients, and
🏥 World-class equipment for clinical staff at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust.
We’re proud to say we smashed our fundraising target, supported such a worthy cause, and had great fun being part of a community that cares. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored us; your support means the world to us.
There are over 100,000 people living with cancer in Merseyside & Cheshire. The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre provides specialist cancer treatment for many of these people through its unique network of care across the region, caring for a population of 2.4 million people.
The Glow Green Night Walk is more than just a walk – it’s a celebration of life, love, and community. Iconic landmarks like St George’s Hall, St John’s Beacon, and The Royal Liver Buildings were lit up in green for the event in solidarity with this fantastic cause. The Glow Green Night Walk is a chance to:
– Raise vital funds for cancer patients across Merseyside and Cheshire.
– Celebrate breakthroughs in life-saving research.
– Thank the incredible staff who care for patients every day.
– Reflect and remember with a stunning lantern display.
