Microsoft is updating the security certificates used by Secure Boot, a key Windows security feature that helps protect systems from malware during startup. To ensure continued compatibility with future Windows updates, Parity Medical recommends that all customers with affected Windows-based systems complete a required BIOS update as soon as possible.
Systems that are not updated before Microsoft’s enforcement date of 19th October 2026 may no longer recognise the new Secure Boot certificates, potentially resulting in boot failures following future Windows updates.
Customers should contact their Customer Success representative to obtain the complete support package, including compatibility assessment tools, required safelist files, the BIOS update package, and step-by-step instructions. We strongly encourage completing this update well ahead of the deadline to avoid disruption and maintain ongoing system security and reliability.
